An amazing person
As i said (i don't know if i said that this before but if don't, i'll say it anyways), i enter to this career cause i love so muchhh the music. But sadly, as u know Chile it's not a country where's is easy be a musician (and actually arts in general). For that reason, my parents, worried about my economic stability, so, as i good and cute son, i decided connect my beloved (and sadly) hobbie with a career that helps me make some money$$$$. The conclusion was, journalism, why? i bet my house that you're thinking that. And the answer for that it was given to me by an amazing woman. Yes darlings, i'm talking about the majestic and pretty Cheryl Waters.
When i was a teenager, i always loved the concept of live music sessions. Feel the music in live like if you was there, the cute and creative scenarios (very veeery creative, like Tiny Desk or Pitchfork), the way that the artist played them songs (sometimes they make reversions or reprises), etc.
And obviously, an important factor of this sessions, it's the person who interview and present the musicians. And the journalist (despite she's an actress) who i think it's the most aproppiate for that it's Cheryl Waters. The way how she interacts with the artists (like a mummy) and her jokes it's simply magnificent. And also, her questions and her very, veeery good locution in radio, make her i think, the best caster of all live sessions programs.
To be honest, i'm aspiring for be a journalist like her. As i said, i'm working on that, and the last year i launched my own live session series, i hope make more sessions in the future. I have the hope that someday, i'll have a progam in the radio where i'll talk about what i love, music dears (:
